LIFE TEEN (Grades 9-12) and Confirmation Class

This year our pastorate will be transitioning the reception of the sacrament of Confirmation to those in grades 8-12. Registration for Youth Confirmation will begin in August. Youth Confirmation classes will be held in place of the traditional Life Teen Sessions generally held on Sundays. Regular Mass attendance and parent involvement are crucial and required to properly prepare for this Sacrament.

Confirmation classes review the meaning of the Sacraments of Initiation, and the importance of Mass and personal prayer. Confirmation will be administered by Bishop Timothy Doherty, Diocese of Lafayette in April. Retreat dates will be announced as details become available.

Life Teen class will still be offered for the senior class. Both Life Teen and Confirmation classes will meet on Sunday evenings at Sacred Heart School in Fowler.

To supplement our parish program and to to help families who may not be participating in a formal program grow in the faith together, we have the @Home in Faith initiative launched recently by Diocese Manager of Catechesis, John Sullivan.  A new video will be posted below each week and related handout can be found at the left under weekly handouts.
