Online Prayer Opportunities St. Charles and St. Patrick Parishes March 18, 2020
Though we are in the midst of trying times, where public Masses have been suspended and all activity at St. Charles and St. Patrick has been put on hold, there are still immense opportunities to grow close to the Lord in prayer. Whether through our parish’s subscription to FORMED.com or through other online outlets, there are plenty of ways to have your spiritual life fed during these weeks. The following is a list of some of the options that are available:
“Daily Readings from the New American Bible”: A recording of the daily Mass readings from the USCCB.
“Word on Fire”: Bishop Robert Barron (from the “Catholicism” DVD series) shares his homily each week.
“Catholic Stuff You Should Know”: Two young priests in Colorado take part in fun, lighthearted discussion on a variety of Catholic topics.
“Ave Maria Radio: Christ is the Answer”: Fr. John Riccardo, a priest from the Archdiocese of Detroit, provides engaging insights on how to live a life dedicated to Christ.
“Lanky Guys”: A Catholic priest and a layman humorously discuss the upcoming Sunday readings. A good way to prepare for Sunday Mass!
