Hello, my name is Carter Schmitt, I am a seminarian for the diocese of Lafayette, and am very excited to be with you all this summer.  I just finished my first year at Kinrick-Glennon Seminary in Saint Louis.  I am a 24 year-old graduate from IU with a degree in psychology.  Before coming to seminary my desire was to get a PhD in clinical psychology.  Some of my hobbies are photography, cycling and reading.  Having come to experience the beauty of the church and the love of Christ in my life, I couldn’t help but decide to enter the seminary.  Again, I am very excited to have been assigned to St. Isidore the Farmer Pastorate.  I greatly desire to meet new people and draw people closer to the love of Christ, so if you see me around, please say hi!
